The candidate will be responsible for assisting with the development, implementation and management of a reliability based maintenance strategy, based on preventative and predictive maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Working directly with the Maintenance Superintendant to build a reliable CMMS system and maintenance team
- Work independently and with other plant personnel to plan and schedule preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks
- Maintain crib inventory & records
- Assist the MRO & contractor quoting process
- Maintenance scheduling
- Maintains equipment information and repair files
- Planning & Coordinating of maintenance jobs and projects
- Plan, schedule & verify completion of work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education and/or technical trade degree required
- Preferrence will be given to individual with CMRP or MMP designation
- Minimum 1 year experience as a maintenance planner or coordinator
- Hands-on maintenance experience providing back-up support for Maintenance Supervisors
- Able to read & interpret documents and drawings
- Ability to write detailed repair reports as well as good verbal communication
- Proficiency with basic computer software and ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software set-up to input data and research parts.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs, climb ladders, and work at elevations
